In a remarkable display of dedication to the community and the environment, the teachers and staff of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) embarked on a coastal clean-up of the polluted shores of Freedom Island in Parañaque. Armed with sacks and gloves, they eagerly joined forces as part of the Southville for Others (SFO) outreach program.
This impactful activity served as a tangible realization of one of the core aspirations of the SFO program: to respond proactively to the environmental needs of adopted communities through genuine community outreach. They tirelessly toiled along the beach to collect 173 sacks of garbage and litter.
Every piece of trash collected that day represented a victory—a victory for the dedicated volunteers, a victory for the environment, and a victory for the future. It proved that true change begins with a single step—a step that leads to cleaner shores, healthier habitats, and a brighter future for us all.
