Student-led book drive benefits public school library

The SISC English Club (SEC) organized a book drive and several fundraisers to collect new and pre-loved books for delivery to a school that serves low-income neighborhoods. With the theme “Bringing the English Language Closer to the Youth through Book Giving,” the SEC held mufti days and movie nights to

raise funds, and placed donation bins around the campus for students to drop books in and participate in the cause. The donated books were recently turned over to the CAA National High School library to upgrade their collection.
