The Psychology Department and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) took heed of its social responsibility by recently conducting a series of seminars to the parents of CAA day care students.
The six sessions focused on holistic development of parents through values formation, parenting communication, spiritual parenting and interpersonal relationship with the aim to make the participants more aware of their responsibilities in honing the lives of their children to become better people, and for their families to have a life of service. Workshops and activities were also conducted to maximize learning.
The said activity was spearheaded by Dr. Lourdes S. Balatbat and Ms. Avelina Mandin, of Psychology Department and CAPS – College respectively.
