Terrence Patrick Cabana of Grade 3 – Faith and Gen Mark Tanno of Grade 9 – Compassion received the High Distinction Certificate and Distinction Certificate, respectively, for being in the top one percent of the participants in the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) that drew over one million student entries from over 6,300 schools from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, the United States, and the Philippines.
Cabana was awarded for his achievement in the subject area of English (High Distinction Certificate) while Tanno (Distinction Certificate) got his in the subject area of Science. The ICAS are independent skills-based assessments with a competition element conducted by the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
