ACTS-Manila at Southville ballet students presented their learning and skills in the ballet recital Runway 2016 Dance Collection held last May 26, 2016, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. They were loudly applauded as they presented five acts: two from the Primary and Level 1 class, and 3 from the Advanced class.
The Advanced class’ interpretation of “Best Day of My Life” was a total hit, with their delicate moves contained in the upbeat tempo; while the Primary and Level 1 class danced their hearts out in pink tutus as the audience cheered them for their enthusiasm and potential.
“I am glad that our students excel in the field of performing arts. They are indeed multi-talented and are sure to be successful performers in the future,” says Ms. Avic Suarez, Principal of Basic Education.
Founded as a school for the gifted, Southville’s ballet program, in partnership with ACTS-Manila, is one of the school’s enrichment programs to develop student giftedness and multiple intelligences that Southville knows reside in all children.
