Southville Holds Substance Abuse Prevention Seminar



Knowing that education is the best deterrent against substance abuse, Southville International School and Colleges’ Discipline Office recently held a Substance Abuse Prevention and Awareness Seminar last for Grades 8 – 11 students.  Invited as facilitator was Dr. Bernard M. Regalado, Head of the Drug Testing Laboratory of Asia Pacific Medical and Diagnostics, Inc., and accredited physician of the Dangerous Drugs Board.

Book lovers, bookworms, bibliophiles, writers, bloggers, and literature lovers of Southville International School and Colleges are all set to give renowned columnist, writer, and talk show host Jessica Zafra a warm welcome on September 21, 2016 as she talks about “TEN CLASSICS  FOR YOUNG ADULTS.”

Sofia Jumao-as is Southville’s New Ice Princess



Sofia May Emerald Jumao-as of Grade 3 – Wisdom of Southville International School and Colleges reaped 6 gold medals and a trophy as the highest pointer in the Female Basic Category of the recent Skate Manila 2016 held at the SM Mall of Asia.

In a special correspondence, Sofia’s mother thanked Southville in expressing support and confidence in Sofia’s achievements.

Southville International School and Colleges once again hosted its annual open house where high school students from different schools were invited to join and take the college entrance exam for free. Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) BS Nursing class of 2007 was the pioneer batch of nursing graduates from the College of Nursing. The batch was a blend of young college first coursers, transferees, and adult second coursers who all came to be part of the demand of the millennium for professional nurses all over the world. AFSL invites campus leaders to upcoming Youth Leadership Congress



The Asian Federation of Student Leaders (AFSL) is inviting high school student leaders to the 2014 Youth Leadership Congress to be held on January 17-18at Southville International School and Colleges, Las Pinas. Employees and scholars of the Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) and its sister school Southville Foreign University (SFU) extended their collective hand to realize the objective of this year’s “Southville for Others” held at Barangay C.A.A., Las Piñas City last October 4, 2013. Southville Math Buffs Get International Distinction



Adrian Mendoza and Romeo Say, Grade 6 students of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), were named recipients of the Certificate of Distinction Award in the Upper Primary Division of the 2011 Australian Mathematics Competition. The award is given to students in the top 15% of each level and region.

Mendoza and Say successfully hurdled against other young mathematicians all over the world who took the competitive exam featuring thirty questions in arithmetic, algebra, geometry and problem solving.
