The Business Research Innovation Center (BRIC) room is designed as a dynamic space where ideas flourish for business students. It serves as a central hub for product ideation, conceptualization, and brainstorming. Here, students can collaborate, exchange ideas, and refine their business concepts in an environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
One of the key features of the BRIC is its showcase area, which proudly displays the numerous awards our students have earned. This area serves as an inspiration, showing what is possible when innovative thinking and hard work come together. It also features a collection of past product ideas that were once mere concepts and have now become successful ventures. These showcases not only celebrate student achievements but also provide valuable learning opportunities for current and future students.
Aside from the BRIC Room, the Prototyping Room is where ideas take physical form. Equipped with advanced 3D printers and other prototyping equipment, this venue is integral to courses such as Technopreneurship. After the ideation and conceptualization phases in the BRIC, students move to the Prototyping Room to create tangible prototypes of their products. This hands-on experience is crucial in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The Prototyping Room is more than just a workshop; it is a place where students learn the intricacies of product development, from initial design to final prototype. Students gain valuable insights into manufacturing processes and the importance of precision and quality in product design.
