Fourth year BS Marketing student Gerard Andrei B. Deinla passed the Registered Marketing Professional (RMP) Certification Program of The Chartered Association of Marketing and Business Professionals (CAMBP) and Junior Achievement (JA) Philippines.

When asked how he felt upon passing the exam, Gerard responded, “I felt blessed and honored to be part of the few Registered Marketing Professionals here in the Philippines. I mean taking a 6 hour marketing exam developed by top marketing executives is intellectually stressful.” In preparation for the exam, Gerard used the review materials given by the organization to every participant. Aside from that, he also utilized his marketing notes from previous subjects and asked Dr. Jerry Aguilar for his marketing views on relevant topics.

Gerard is cognizant of the tough competition in the labor market especially in his field. “That’s why I decided to take this opportunity that will enable me to shine among the talents in the market.”
