Southville Math Whiz Reaps Awards in Vietnam
Southville International School and Colleges Grade 8 student, Gwyneth Margaux Tangog, brought home medals from the 15th Hanoi Math Olympiad Competition held last March 26-30, 2018 in the capital city of Vietnam. Tangog earned a gold medal in the team competition together with four more Gr. 8 students from the Philippines by finishing in first place followed by Vietnam and then China. She also added a bronze medal in the individual contest, competing at the Junior level.

Southville Robotics Teams Win First Competition
The robotics teams Southville International School and Colleges recently entered their first competition and came in second place and third place facing off against other entrants from public and private schools. The Junior High School Team of Cuitlauzina Brianna Cerbito, Stefano Crispino De Castro, Iñigo Miguel Hernandez and Gwyneth Margaux Tangog finished first runner-up in Envirobot 2018 held at Far Eastern University – Diliman.

Southville Delegation Wins Major Awards in Model United Nations Assembly
Southville International School and Colleges students John David S. Villariño of International Baccalaureate 2 won the Best Delegate of World Health Organization award and Park Ye Eun of Grade 10-Leadership won Best Delegate of Historical Security Council, while Alexandra Therese Derpo of International Baccalaureate 1 was chosen as Assistant President of United Nations Environment Program in the recently concluded 20th Model United Nations Assembly organized by Rotary Club of Makati Jose P. Ten Southville Students To Compete in Asian English Olympics
Argela-Vi Malanao, Dale Pons Gregorio, Daniel Nikolai Dacanay, Lester Joseph Buitizon, Park Soo Hyun, Yoo Chaeyun, Kim Hyun, Song Seungmin, Park Jun Hee, Kwon Jiwon with Teacher Garry Gonzalo of Southville International School and Colleges flew this morning to Indonesia to compete at Asian English Olympics (AEO). Southville Math Wizards Bagged Awards in ICAS-Math 2017
Southville International School and Colleges math wizards received awards in the 2017 International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) – Mathematics conducted last August 2017 that drew over one million student entries from more than twenty countries.
Gwyneth Margaux Tangog of Grade 8 – Integrity was awarded the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Medal and a medal winner’s certificate as one of the top scorers in ICAS-Math 2017. Gwyneth also won the High Distinction Award for being in the top one percent of all the participants.
