Mathletes Leave Mark in International Contest



Gwyneth Tangog of Grade 6 – Perseverance was named recipient of the Certificate of Distinction Award in the Upper Primary Division of the 2015 Australian Mathematics Competition. The award is given to students in the top 15 percent of each level and region, or belonging between the 85 and 98 percentile.

In the same competition, Antwone Ong of Gr. 6 – Perseverance and Arin Lee of Gr. 4 – Humility received the Credit Award for being in the top 50 percent of their level. They won their awards for their performance relative to other students in their region, of the … [Read more]

Southville Tankers finish strong at swim meet



Wania Jamila of Gr. 2 – Franklin swam fast and hard to take second place in the butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle events of her age group at the 86th Philippine Swimming League National Series held recently at the Athletic Bowl Swimming Pool Complex in Baguio City.

In the same competition, Tania Fatima of Gr. 1 – Einstein got medals for finishing second in butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle, and third in breaststroke in her age band. [Read more]

Southville-CAPS Hosts the Basic Education NSPO 2016



The Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) hosted the New Students and Parents Orientation (NSPO) last June 11, 2016, at the Luxembourg Hall. The orientation is for students and parents who want to know more about the education and student services offered in Southville. The orientation also included Southville students talking about their experiences and how it helped them overcome certain situations in life, and a question and answer session for parents and guardians.

College freshmen beat the heat at Southville



College freshmen and transferees flocked to Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) for a welcome party organized by the Office of Public Relations last May 22, 2015.

The program aptly titled “Beat the Heat” featured an energetic performance from the SISC Dance Troupe to welcome the new students. Daryl Papa from the College of Communication Arts infused more vitality in the activities with his dynamic hosting. The game, “Beach Ball”, enabled new students to get to know each other. An Elegant Evening for Camaraderie



The College of Nursing’s Testimonial Dinner held last March 28th, Saturday at the Luxembourg Gym was hosted by Class 2015 for graduates of 2014 who successfully passed last year’s Nursing Board Exam. The theme was Night at the Oscars. With just a few prominent stage trimmings, like two giant Oscar statuettes, the black and white themed table set-up and the red carpet, the gym was elegantly transformed. Southville Gears Up for 2015 WASC Visit



“The entire school leadership and staff of Southville International School Colleges have shown a commitment to provide a quality educational program for its students. Students from Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) were named recipients of top certificates in the 2014 International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) – Mathematics Assessment conducted by Educational Assessment Australia. The competition is participated in by more than twenty countries from Asia, Africa, Europe, and America.
