Southville Celebrates Araw ng Wika



Basic Education students of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) joined the nation in its commemoration of Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa this August 2012. With the theme “Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino,” a lineup of activities was firmed up in recognition of Filipino as a common language that unites the nation. The students were exposed in their Filipino classes to various meaningful level activities such as Bugtungan Quiz Bee , Poster Making, and the OPM (Original Pilipino Music) Pinoy Idol and Duet to promote appreciation of the Filipino language.

Southville wins in karate tournaments



The Southville Karate contingent brought home a total of twenty-eight medals (thirteen gold, seven silver and eight bronze) from two separate karatedo
tournaments held last month.

In the 1st Shito Ryu Shukokai Cup – Open Karate Kobudo Chanpionship organized by the Philippine Shito Ryu Shukokai under the Philippine Karatedo
Federation of the National Sports Administration, the Southville karatekas bagged the 2nd Overall Cup for Kobudo with a medal tally of 4 gold, 3 silver,

Southville Mathlete to Represent Philippines in International Math Tourn



Gen Mark Tanno of Southville International School and Colleges will compete in the upcoming 5th International Young Mathematicians’ Competition (IYMC) sponsored by the City Montessori School (CMS) and office of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh of India on November 28-December 6, 2012.

“SULONG SA PAGTULONG” OF SOUTHVILLE BUSINESS STUDENTS REACH OUT TO FAMILIES IN SOUTH METRO



When the country was hit by an unusual southwest monsoon recently, the Business Education students of Southville International School and Colleges took the challenge they learned in their subjects on Corporate Social Responsibility and the IC subjects on Values and Leadership by bravely launching their “Sulong sa Pagtulong” project which is a relief operation effort giving assistance to the families in South Metro who were affected by the calamity. Preschoolers Paint with their Parents



The Preschool Division of Southville International School and Colleges (SSIC) is holding an art contest for its Nursery, Kinder, and Junior Prep students and their parents.  Dubbed “Painting with Mom and Dad,” it’s a contest where everyone wins in terms of fun and parent-child bonding!

Southville Students Attend Nationwide Marketing Conference



As part of SISC’s thrust to supplement classroom learning, one hundred forty-seven delegates from the College of Business Administration and Tourism of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) joined the annual Strategic Marketing Conference for Students (StratMark) sponsored by the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) held at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City last July 31, 2012. Southville Holds After School Programs



Weekends need not be boring for students and parents alike. Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) offers the Worthwhile Weekend Programs 1 (WWP 1) on academics, sports, performing arts, and other activities to kids aged 3 and above.  It is SISC’s offering for students and other interested parties who may want to put their Saturdays into good use by learning new skills or knowledge in fun and interesting ways.

Southville Captures 2013 Pacific Summer Volley Title in Guam



Southville International School and Colleges High School Volleyball Team brought home the 2013 Pacific Summer Invitational Volleyball Games Title after defeating three schools in straight sets during the two-day tournament held at St. Paul Christian School Gymnasium, Guam USA.
The tournament was hosted by Senator Tina Muña Barnes who also personally met the team and awarded the trophies and medals during the closing ceremony.

Get SMART this summer



This summer, be physically active or mentally engaged through the SMART
(Sports, Mental, Artistic) Program, SISC’s summer offering of fun and informative
programs for children, teens, and adults who would like to spend their break in fun and
productive ways.
The SMART academic offerings include Booster and Enhancement Programs in
Reading, Math, Science, French, Chinese, Basic and Advanced Computer, and English
as Second Language and Filipino for foreign students. An Exploration Camp for
Preschool where children learn through Music, Arts, and Movement is also open in
S.T.A.R. Campus.
