10th National Search for Top Outstanding Performing Students (TOPS) launched
In celebration of the 10th search for the Top Outstanding Performing Students (TOPS), the organizers announced that on top of the 100 TOPS scholars on board, all the 10 top TOPS will be given full college scholarships for Academic Year 2014. There will be other types of scholarships available for the other ranking contenders who are interested to enroll in any of the programs in the Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) higher education institutions. BS Psychology New Students and Parents Orientation
The officers of the Psychology Society welcomed the participants with an activity to build camaraderie with the newcomers. The College of Psychology Chairperson, Mr. Ruel A. Cajili, presented the degree requirements and program policies, services, and opportunities for all Psychology majors. He also answered the questions of new students and parents regarding program expectations and SISC’s culture.

VAT Exhibit showcases 5Cs in Action
Southville International School and Colleges held the annual VAT exhibit last February 22-26, 2016 at the Luxembourg walkway.
VAT, or Vision and Task, Circle showed the 5Cs (Competence, Character, Collaboration, Creativity, and Commitment to Achieve) in action through a display of students’ best projects and creative outputs that ranged from mouth-watering desserts to functional crafts, and from vivid paintings to innovative robots. Some of the projects presented were Bubble Painting, Potato Battery, Hologram, DIY Smartphone Projector, and Solar Rover, among others.

Judith Won Pat enlightens students at job fair
Southville International School and Colleges held a job fair at the Luxembourg Hall last February 24, 2016. Coming from Guam, USA, the special guest was Judith Won Pat who is part of the 33rd Legislature of Guam and handles culture and education. The event began with her speech on understanding different people around the world. According to the speaker, misunderstanding is the cause of conflict among people of different nations. Pat also talked about admitting Filipino students into universities like the University of Guam for education and scholarships.

Southville Mathletes show their mettle in international contest
Students from Southville International School and Colleges were named recipients of top certificates in the 2015 International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) – Mathematics Assessment conducted by Educational Assessment Australia. The competition is participated in by more than twenty countries from Asia, Africa, Europe, and America.
Lee Chan Hee, Chang Min Yoon, Miguel Dominico Alzona and Christian Joseph Papa were awarded the Distinction Certificate given to the top 10percent of the takers in their level. WASC mid-cycle visit a huge success for Southville
Southville International School and Colleges passed the midterm review of the visiting Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), USA committee who noted the students’ critical thinking skills in their dialogues with them, and the school teachers and administrators’ efforts to implement British and US common core standards to increase instructional rigor for all students.

AFSL Hosts Global Dignity Day
The Asian Federation of Student Leaders (AFSL) hosted the Philippine run of the Global Dignity Day Challenge 2014 last year at Southville International School and Colleges, city of Las Pinas.
Instituted during the World Economic Forum, Global Dignity Day is the brainchild of Young Global Leaders, HRH Crown Prince Hakkon of Norway, Prof. Pekka Himanen of Finland and thought leader, John Hope Bryant.
The Challenge was participated in by seventeen competing students and more than 200 plenary participants where three outstanding speakers were awarded:
