INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ NIGHT



The International Students Night with the theme, It’s more fun in Southville, was held at Luxembourg Gym on 2 July 2015. The event was attended by 53 international students. The objective of the event was to foster the smooth transition of our students from their country of origin to the Southville International School and Colleges community. The event was likewise our way of welcoming the new international students.

Southville runs Stock Market 101



Southville International School and Colleges, through the College of Business headed by Dr. Vic Manabat, in collaboration with The Capital Markets Institute of the Philippines Inc. (CMIP), organized a 2-day seminar that ran from April 20-21 on Basic Stock Market Investing for High School, College Students, and Professionals held at SISC’s School of the Future in the Luxembourg Campus.

Twenty-two participants, composed of students, housewives, teachers, insurance agents, and retirees, showed interest in earning money through the Stock Market, attended the first run of the seminar.

Psychology Students attend DSM-V



Senior Psychology students from Southville International School and Colleges attended the seminar on Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder or DSM-5 last July 22, 2013 at the St. Dominic College of Asia in Bacoor, Cavite.

The seminar was well-attended by schools with psychology programs south of Manila. Southville Congratulates Joross Gamboa for Best Supporting Actor Win



Southville International School and Colleges takes pride in congratulating John Ross “Joross” Gamboa, AB Communication student, for winning the Best Supporting Actor Award in the 2012 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival. Cinemalaya is a film competition and festival that aims to encourage the creation of new cinematic works by Filipino filmmakers – works that boldly articulate and freely interpret the Filipino experience with fresh insight and artistic integrity.

Southville holds SPED Olympics 2013



College of Education recently hosted SPED Olympics 2013.

Formally opened by the Dean of Education, Dr. Virginia O.Caneo, the event encouraged children with special needs to participate in sports. It aimed to enhance the self-esteem of its participants and develop friendships among them. Another purpose of the said activity was to promote social capability which is of utmost importance to children who are mentally challenged to improve their social functioning.

Roces Rocks in Search for Redhead Model



Rocking the runway with her beauty, grace and charm, High School senior Arielle Roces proved once again her modeling prowess as she was hailed one of the new faces of Redhead.

Redhead is a clothing brand exclusively available at the Girls Teens’ Wear section of SM Department Stores nationwide. Around 700 hopefuls joined the search but only twelve made it to the cut. The lucky circle of twelve underwent a series of lessons on personality development, speech eloquence, ramp walking, photography modeling, and several fashion and beauty boot camps.

SISC Bets Win Mr. and Ms. Teen SGEN 2011



Airian Lajada of HS III – Conviction and Ira de Castro of HS IV – Industry were crowned Mr. and Ms. Teen Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) 2011. The pageant was held last September 26, 2011, as part of Southville International School and Colleges’ 21st Foundation Celebration.

Lajada and de Castro bested the participants from other SGEN member schools namely: South Mansfield College in Muntinlupa City, and Stonyhurst Southville International School – Lipa City and Batangas City.

SEED Academy Launches Senior High Program



After being certified by the Department of Education and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), SEED Academy, launched its newest offering of Senior High Program with the Technical Vocation Track in Information Communication Technology.

SEED Senior High School conducted its first New Students and Parents Orientation (NSPO) last June 24, 2016. Southville senior gets highest mark in International exam



Lee Chan Hee of Senior High School obtained the highest grade of A* in the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examination in High Math conducted by the University of Cambridge, UK. He took the test when he was in Junior High School last academic year.
