The Outdoor Educational Program (OEP) is intended to optimize the learning of the students by making them appreciate the interconnectedness between the different subject areas and real-life experiences. The highlight of this year’s OEP are the cultural shows “Little Women” and “Sleeping Beauty” for high school and grade school respectively, tree planting and nature trips in Clark and Subic, and guided tours of the Museum of Natural History and Rizal Shrine.
Upcoming field trips include the musical play “The Princess and the Red Carp” for Preschool – Grade 2, nature trips to Mt. Makiling and Campo Trexo in Cavite for High School I and II, and a historical-nature trip to Corregidor, Bataan for High School IV.
Classroom lessons are augmented with the field trip component to let the students have exciting discoveries in the context of curriculum objectives.
