Just after Valentine’s Day weekend, February 16, 2015, love was still in the air for most of the BSN students who proved their love for their adopted Las Piñas CAA community. If love is about giving your best effort and going the extra mile, then that was what the senior BSN students and faculty proved today. Waking up at 5:45 am, they started with an early morning walk to the vicinity of the Barangay Hall in Aratiles Street. It was rather early for their senior citizen counterpart to join in.
While waiting for the official program to start the students had fun playing basket ball with the children in nearby basketball court. And later, community residents were entertained when the students gave their all during the fun Zumba exercise session.
As part of making efforts to develop community relations with our Barangay BF International particularly our adopted community CAA-4, BSN students and faculty volunteers took time to join with key Barangay officers and participated in their regular community activities like this Monday’s flag ceremony. This gesture made everyone feel that Southville International School & Colleges and the CAA Community have indeed become valued partners.
