Company member Pam Buot and aspirants Clare Egalla, Pia Mercado and Reese Suarez, who started ballet training at ACTS Manila – Southville under the supervision of Director Jan Manlapig, made it to the roster of the ballet show Narratives in Motion staged last November 4, 2018, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Main Theater. The ballet company scouted talent from its affiliate schools to come up with twenty aspirants and seven company members who presented the show’s message of redemption and new beginnings.

Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) College of Tourism students recently attended a talk about getting a masters degree program in hospitality in Australia thru Mr. Derek Miligan, International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) Director for Student and Industry Engagements. Mr. Miligan talked about the academic and professional advantages of pursuing a graduate program in Australia.

And there is no greater joy in the world than to put smiles on children’s faces.” Thus shared members of the Southville International Junior Marketing Association (SIJMA) during their recently held outreach program held at BF Homes Phase 3 Gymnasium and the RCPS Rotary Center. Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) joins other top international schools in the country in the recently concluded Model United Nations (MUN) Local 2018, a forum for high school students to debate on current global issues and gain insights into the world of international politics and decision-making. The event was held last September 28-29 with four hundred delegates participating.

The exhibit will showcase “Food of the Future”, a wide range of craft-works done collaboratively by SISC IB student volunteers to portray how neglecting the environment we inhabit will result in such food to be on our tables in the near future.
Further, the event will also feature “The Lighthouse Project”, a visual art exhibition-centered on mental health advocacy-by SISC IB student volunteers. Profits earned from the artworks will all be donated to Talang Dalisay-an organization dedicated to a likewise advocacy.
