Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) recently hosted a CEO Forum featuring Paula Mills, CEO of the Academy of Entrepreneurs from Sydney, Australia. Organized by SISC’s College of Business, the event proved to be a wellspring of inspiration and knowledge for all attendees as Mills shared her invaluable insights on how to tackle the seemingly ‘unfixable’ challenges that entrepreneurs often face.
Mills’ message was simple yet profound: instead of complaining about obstacles, they should be embraced as gateways to innovation. She emphasized that the greatest entrepreneurial ventures often arise from tackling problems head-on. Mills illustrated how, in her own life, she had turned adversity into opportunity and successfully launched new ventures from scratch. Her story is a testament to the power of determination, innovation, and a positive mindset.
Also in attendance at the CEO Forum was Mr. Rollie Dela Cruz from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Australian Embassy, further enhancing the international flavor of the event. His presence underscored the importance of global cooperation and collaboration in the ever-evolving business landscape.
The CEO Forum provides an avenue for SISC students to gain insights on critical concerns and issues of the corporate world, and how to overcome them through a dialogue with entrepreneurs, experts and business leaders. They get firsthand access to the wisdom, perspectives and advice of successful chief executives so they can build their own career or business for success.
