Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) joins other top international schools in the country in the recently concluded Model United Nations (MUN) Local 2018, a forum for high school students to debate on current global issues and gain insights into the world of international politics and decision-making. The event was held last September 28-29 with four hundred delegates participating.
The SISC representatives bagged two major awards with Tyrulf Constantine Ekberg (8-Integrity) and David Jacob Ramos (10-Commitment) named as Best Speaker, and Neel Sharma (8-Integrity), Park Hyuk Jin (9-Compassion), Akisha Julienne Cu (IB 1) and Lester Buitizon (IB 1) cited as Best Delegate.
Basic Education Principal Avic Suarez, pleased with the recognition given to the SISC students, said, “Student achievement has always been SISC’s most important goal. We encourage our students to continue to learn through activities like the MUN and demonstrate the 5Cs we equip them with: Commitment, Competence, Character, Creativity, Collaboration.”
