Monarchs win in Sci-Tech Champs Competition

Four Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) students bagged medals at the recent Brainiac 2023: Clash of the Sci-Tech Champs held at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon
City. Ervin Joshua Bautista of Gr. 10 – Commitment earned a gold medal, Railey Emmanuel Ascaño of Gr. 8 -Integrity got a silver, and Edrigo Dauigoy of Gr. 12 – Grit and Joshua Levi Santos of Gr. 9 –
Compassion received bronze in the competition that aimed to increase interest in science, math, and research.

By virtue of his victory, Bautista was also named Top Performing Student from the 126 participants who joined the contest. SISC, on the other hand, was declared the Second Top Performing School among the 79 private and public high schools from the National Capital Region that competed in the event. The other members of the SISC delegation were Bang Changseong of Gr. 12-Grit, and Jin Jiwon of Gr. 11-Competence.
