The Junior Tourism and Hospitality Management Association of the Philippines (JTHMAP) has appointed BS Tourism Students Erolf Jolo De Guzman Feliciano as CHAIR (National) and Maryneilla G. Caramoan as SECRETARY (Regional) joining tourism and hospitality student leaders in the Philippines this year. Southville Institute of Tourism (SIT) celebrates this milestone where both of its students take the leadership position for a national organization across the country. Families’ transition to online learning has been quite a challenge; three or more kids could be overwhelming. Not for the Hernandez Family who created a school-like set-up at home for siblings Kylie (preschool), Zoei (grade school), and Sophie (high school) while their parents attend to their full-time jobs. 

Sophie wakes up the earliest to do physical training as an athlete, followed by Zoei, and then Kylie. Miguel Alzona, Top Filipino Scholar Receives Scholarship from the University of Toronto, Accepted in 9 Universities Worldwide

17-year-old Miguel Dominico M. Alzona, a Southville homegrown student, is the first to graduate at the highest rank in his class for the Southville International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Back in 2018, Alzona was declared as the Top Filipino Scholar at the World Scholar’s Cup – Tournament of Champions in Yale University. In the same year, he was also awarded by the New York Times for his 500-word opinion piece entitled “Africa’s Curtain Call”.
