Information Technology (IT) student, Bea Soriano Guevarra, is this year’s newly elected Director of Information Communication and International Linkages for Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS). In an interview, Guevarra humbly shared that most of her biggest life events happened by accident. The course IT was a plan B to her and the election for the JPCS Board of Officers happened on the day she was only supposed to submit the requirements needed. The Philippine Board of Studies handpicked top students nationwide to compete in Malaysia early this year for the International Science Competition. One of the few students who made it was Southville’s consistent academic varsity and veteran contender, Robert Jeremiah Rivera. Rivera participated in two categories which were the Junior Team Competition where he earned BRONZE together with his “Vietnamese” teammates and the Junior Individual Competition where he attained SILVER and was only two-point lead close to the gold. The fourth-year Multimedia Business students of Ms. Mylene Manalo held a special block screening of Ralph Breaks the Internet on November 21 at Robinsons Mall Cinema, Las Pinas. The said event not only served as a class activity but also as a fundraising activity for the colleges’ future events.

In 2016, Isabelle Young graduated at the top of her International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) class. Having taken IB Biology at Higher Level fostered her interest in the natural science, which only deepened at the university.
