Five students among top scorers in Math training program



The Mathematics Trainers’ Guild Philippines recognized five Southville students who are among the top scorers in the MTC Mathematical Challenge for Filipino Kids Training Program (MCFKTP). The students are the following:

Southville alumna wins an award at National Model United Nations



Southville alumna wins an award at National Model United Nations

Southville high school alumna Ma. Charmaine Dayupay represented the Philippines in the National Model United Nations (NMUN) Conference held at Olomouc, Czech Republic last November 22-28, 2015. Representing the country of Estonia, Charmaine won “Honorable Mention Delegate. Among the estimated 16,000 students, she was one of the 18 delegates chosen to participate in the event from her university. On March 20-24, Charmaine will again represent the Philippines and her school in the NMUN-NY.

Charmaine graduated from high school in Southville in 2012. At present, she is taking up a pre-law degree, BA International Studies, at De La Salle University-Manila.… [Read more]

Southville College Admission Test Ongoing



 

Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) – College Division is now processing admission for Academic Year 2013-2014. Graduating high school students and transferees may visit the Admissions Office from Monday – Friday (8 AM to 3 PM) and Saturday (8 AM – 10 AM) to take the Southville International School and Colleges Admission Test (SISCAT).

 

The following are the requirements:
• SISC College Application Form
• Photocopy of Birth Certificate
• Photocopy of Report Card (for high school IV students)
• Photocopy of Transcript of Records (for transferees)
• 4 pcs. 2×2 pictures

Southville Conducts Reading Enhancement Program



 

Reading is a life-long skill that a person needs to succeed as a student and as a professional.  Through reading, individuals have the opportunity to learn about people, times, and ideas that they may never actually encounter in life.  Reading can also bring a lifetime of pleasure and mental activity.

Southville Hosts Forum on Village Management



 

Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) will host an Afternoon with Chairpersons, Presidents, and Administrators of Village Associations in Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, and Parañaque on March 17, 2012 at 4:30 PM.

The event aims to gather village leaders in an afternoon of music, entertainment, and sharing of insightful ideas on community involvement. A resource speaker will talk about strategies on effective village management with special focus on environmental concerns.

Southville Student is Topnotcher in SBA Math Exam



 

Gabriel N. Aquino, a Grade 1 student of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), is a topnotcher in the Standards-Based Assessment (SBA) Math exam held last Academic Year 2011-2012. According to the Asian Psychological Services and Assessment (APSA) Inc., Aquino got the highest mean scaled ability score among 6,110 Grade 1 examinees.

With an approach far different from traditional assessment, the SBA evaluates students’ performance based on the required standards for a specific grade level rather than comparing it with other students.
