100% Passing Rate for Southville-BS Nursing In Licensure Exam 2016

 

June 18, 2016 – Southville International School and Colleges BS Nursing Class 2016 recorded 100 percent passing rate at the 2016 Nursing Licensure Exam.

All 12 Southville examinees passed the exam as per the official results release by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Nursing (BoN) last June 17, 2016

Southville Monarchs Bag an Award in International Science Camp

 

Six high school students from Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) participated in the Science Summer Camp 2016 held at the National University of Singapore (NUS) last July. The program intended to inculcate a life­long fascination for science as the participants engage NUS professors in lecture series, perform and-s­on workshops at state­-of­the-­art laboratories and visit highly specialized research labs.

Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) conducted a Storytelling for Preschool at Fully Booked Alabang Town Center last September 26, 2015. Teachers from the STAR campus were the storytellers, reading three stories to enthusiastic preschoolers. In between tales, the teachers asked thought-provoking questions and taught fun action songs. Svetlana Riguera is the Champion of the 2015 International Writing Competition



 

Svetlana Riguera (IB-1) of Southville International School and Colleges emerged as the champion in the secondary school category of the International New York Times (INYT) Writing Competition 2015. The participants were asked to write an article on the topic of global education and the entries were judged by INYT’s award-winning newsroom.

The INYT Writing Competition began in 2009 in Hong Kong as part of INYT’s InEducation program, which encourages students to engage with current affairs and become globally-minded by reading the daily newspaper. In 2015, the competition was expanded to include all of Asia.

Verniece Enciso Nails a Fashion Title



After the skating rinks, she’s now conquering the runway.

Verniece Enciso, a champion skater, found another love and source of achievements: modeling. She was named Female Model of the Year in Ateneo de Manila University’s Mirage Fashion Show last January 29, 2011. Almost a hundred hopefuls auditioned but only twenty fresh faces made it to the finals. The event is an annual fashion show for high school students.
