Behind every successful student is a community of competent academicians who embrace lifelong learning. The Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) is committed to providing its faculty and officers opportunities for growth in their careers. A philosophical degree education aimed to enable them to further nurture and strengthen Southville’s academic environment centered around the grit and growth mindset.
Southville congratulates the following upon completion of their Ph.D. in Management from the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Batangas in 2020:

“I am grateful for the support that the SGEN management provided in my dissertation,” said Southville President Dr. Jocelyn P. Tizon, affectionately called Dr. Jo, in an interview. “I have been blessed with colleagues and people I work with who support and give me an extra boost of confidence whenever loads get too much to bear.” She added that Dr. Genevieve Ledesma-Tan, Southville’s Chief Executive Mentor was also one of her sources of inspiration during her learning journey.
When asked for pieces of advice to give to people who aspire to pursue higher education, Dr. Jo’s message is, “Keep learning. There is no substitute for seeking knowledge every day. It makes you a better person, a better worker. The discipline of writing my dissertation and my other academic reports have expanded my understanding and perspectives in many areas of leadership and school management.”
