SMIS Launching: Cultivating Curiosity and Inspiring Young Minds in Cavite

Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) celebrates a milestone today as it opens its new campus in Cavite- Southville Monarchs International School (SMIS). 

SMIS is SGEN’s 8th campus, dedicated to Nurturing Curiosity through Nature, Exploration, and Play, creating a holistic place where young minds thrive. Distinguished education advocates graced the event, including SGEN’s key officers; Dr. Gene Laurel, Chief Executive Mentor;  Mr. Rex Wallen Tan, SMIS Founder and Southville Chief Technology Officer; and Dr. Jocelyn Tizon, SGEN President. 

The event was also graced by prominent figures from Antel Grande Village – Mrs. Felicitas Ong, President of AGVHOAI; Kyle Anthony Lao, Vice-president of AGVHOAI; and Kendrick Lao, Executive Director of ANTEL HOLDINGS. Their support solidifies the collective dedication to nurturing young minds in a thriving educational environment.

General Trias City Councilor Hon. Hernando Granados and Hon. Edwin Rodriguez, Barangay Captain of Bacao II, joined the celebration, emphasizing the collaborative effort to enhance educational standards within the community. DepEd Officer Miss Riza S. Sanchez’s attendance further underscores the collaboration between educational institutions and the broader educational ecosystem.

This celebration encapsulates growth, exploration, and curiosity, with SMIS shining as a beacon of learning, inspiring young minds to blossom like flowers in its nurturing environment.

SMIS is a campus managed by Southville International School and Colleges.
