Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) has partnered with Asian Hospital and Medical Center Inc (AHMC) to enhance the clinical studies of its nursing students. The contract signing ceremony recently marked the start of this collaboration, providing quality international, cutting-edge training and hands-on experience for Southville’s nursing students.
The agreement, signed by Dr. Jocelyn Tizon, President of SISC, Rex Wallen Tan, SISC’s Chief Finance Officer, and Dr. Beaver Tamesis, President and CEO of AHMC, formalizes a framework for nursing students to engage in virtual and face-to-face training at AHMC. This opportunity allows students to observe and participate in medical practitioners’ daily operations, providing valuable insights and practical skills for their future nursing careers.
A key aspect of the collaboration is Southville nursing students’ opportunity to care for charity patients at AHMC, extending healthcare services to those in need while offering students diverse patient cases to enrich their learning experience. AHMC is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), recognized as one of the most advanced healthcare institutions in the Philippines, dedicated to providing high-value healthcare for patients and their families.
