In the ever-evolving business landscape of Asia, certain organizations stand out as beacons of innovation, leadership, and sustainability. Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) was recently recognized in the prestigious Beacons 10 print edition for being among “Asia’s Most Inspiring Business Leaders and Sustainability Advocates” in 2023.
It comes on the heels of SISC receiving the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Award from the MORS Group for demonstrating unwavering commitment to corporate excellence and sustainability and contributing to the economic development of the continent. This year’s ACES Awards attracted more than 500 participants across Asia with 163 making it finalists and 82 declared as winners.
The two-page feature story outlines SISC’s dedication to uplifting the international education sector in the Philippines, its visionary approaches, and the profound impact it has had on students, families, and the broader educational ecosystem by exemplifying inspiring academic leadership.
The selection process for “Asia’s Most Inspiring Business Leaders and Sustainability Advocates” entailed a thorough assessment of diverse criteria that include leadership values, innovation and sustainability, ethical compliance, and community empowerment. SISC was selected after undergoing a rigorous evaluation process done by a jury of prominent business leaders.
Other honorees in the region include the Philippines’ Ayala Corporation, BDO Unibank, and St. Luke’s Medical Center, Vietnam’s Microsoft, and Highlands Coffee, Indonesia’s PT AstraZeneca and PT Unilever, Malaysia’s Kellogg Asia Products, Thailand’s Wellington College International School.
