Southville Personnel Among the Recipients of the Las Piñas Icon Awards

Three Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) faculty and staff were recognized at the recent Las Pinas Icons of Change Award. Dr. Rene Aligonero, Chairperson of the College of Tourism and Director for Linkages, was awarded Outstanding Leader of the Year in Tourism and Hospitality Education while Ms. Mylene Manalo, Faculty Member of the College of Communication and Multimedia Arts, received the title of Outstanding Leader of the Year in Communication and Media Education. Ms. Elydia R. Reyes, Public Relations Manager and Faculty Member of the College of Psychology, was also honored as the Outstanding Leader of the Year in Public Relations for Education.

The Icons of Change Awards is a prestigious event that recognizes over 80 awardees from various sectors, including LGUs, educational institutions, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. It is dedicated to honoring individuals and groups who have made outstanding contributions to Las Piñas City and beyond. The awards highlighted the exceptional contributions of SISC members in fostering positive change and community development.
