Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) students won a total of 185 medals—88 Gold and 102 Silver medals from the World Scholar’s Cup – Manila Round held last November. The event covers four categories namely Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, a multiple choice test known as the Scholar’s Challenge, and the quiz-bee style Scholar’s Bowl.
Members of the SISC delegation won the following awards:
Medals and Global Qualifiers
- All SISC scholars secured at least one medal each, showcasing their individual brilliance.
- Every team qualified for the prestigious Global Round, a testament to their collective strength and teamwork.
- 40 Champion Scholars were recognized, with 12 hailing from SISC, including two who made it to the Top 5 Overall:
- Ethan Fritzgerald Pollard – Ranked 1st Overall
- Don Enrique Padilla – Ranked 3rd Overall
Special Citations
- Don Enrique Padilla also emerged as the Highest Scorer in the Scholar’s Challenge, a truly outstanding feat.
