The Counseling and Psychological Services or C.A.P.S. Department of Southville International School and Colleges offers a variety of programs to help the students of SISC adjust in the school setting, cope with any challenges and thrive to be vital members of the community through SISC’s twin thrusts Academic and Values Excellence and our mission, the 5C’s (Competence, Character, Collaboration, Creativity, and Commitment to Achieve).
This year we will be offering the following services:
• Routine, Intensive, Peer/Special Group Counseling
• Sponsorship Program for all Grade School Students
• Emotional Quotient and Achievers’ Core Training (EQ & ACT) Program
• First Holy Communion and Confirmation for Catholic Students
• Career Counseling and Exploration for Grades 10 and 11 students
• Comprehensive Growth Series for Grades 6 to 11 students
To welcome the new school year AY 2015-16, we will be having our first event, the New Students and Parent’s Orientation (NSPO). All new students and parents are invited to get to know more about SISC. This event will happen on June 6, 2015, Saturday at 9:00 am. to 12nn.
The CAPS office is open everyday from 7:30 to 4:30. The students are welcome to come in anytime for any immediate concern. As for other matters that need our attention the parents may inform us though the PR office or through the child’s class adviser.
The CAPS Department of SISC is the HEART of the school; it is our duty to treat each and every student with the love and respect they deserve. We want to make a big difference in the lives of the students so that they may in turn be inspired to make a big difference later on as movers and shakers of society.
