Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) celebrates its 22nd Foundation Month through a series of activities which started off with the Opening Ceremony.
In his welcome remarks, Dr. Marl V. Ferenal, President of SISC, thanked and congratulated the students, faculty and staff for the 22 years of hard work and steadfast commitment contributing to the progress of the school. SISC Chief Executive Mentor Dr. Genevieve Ledesma-Tan, founder of the school, was the guest of honor. In her inspirational message, Dr. Tan traced the development of the school from two students and a wooden building to an educational network offering preschool, grade school, high school, college, and post-graduate courses in eight campuses.
Other highlights of the opening ceremony included twenty-two selected SISC students and employees professing why they love the school. The SISC Intercultural Affairs Dance Troupe captivated the audience with their rendition of Philippine folk dances. College students from the Business Administration, Communication, Information Technology, Nursing, Psychology, Tourism, and Special Education programs shared their achievements through presentation of dances. Musical performances were also rendered by SISC’s top warblers and by the Anklung Orchestra from Basic Education.
