Every year, groups of administrators and faculty from various schools and universities visit to benchmark with Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), particularly in its curriculum and instructional methodologies. More and more educational institutions have expressed interest in observing and learning how SISC facilitates the delivery of real international education.
Last April 17, 2012, about 15 delegates from the University of Bohol in Tagbilaran City visited the campus to hear from SISC’s Management and Academic Group the unique features of the Basic Education Division. Dr. Marl Ferenal, SISC President, welcomed the guests and emphasized on the twin thrusts of SISC: academics and values excellence. After the plenary, the visitors were then toured around SISC’s modern facilities such as the E-Classrooms, Multimedia Center, Museum of the South, International Baccalaureate (IB) Building and the Capital Market Learning Center.
“Learning assemblies such as this facilitates sharing of knowledge and establishes partnership in inspiring more educators to raise the bar in the implementation of educational programs and services”, Dr. Ferenal said.
