Southville International School and Colleges finished 3rd place in the 2011 PRSP Student Grand Prix with the theme May Say Ako, Ito ang Gagawin Ko. The team represented by students from the Colleges of Communication and Multimedia Arts bested different universities nationwide, in what is considered as the most prestigious interschool competition for Public Relations.
SISC’s entry this year is entitled Sangguniang Kabataan, Sagot sa Kinabukasan which aims to regain the credibility of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) as the government’s conduit in policy-making and nation building.
The members of Southville’s team are Anthony Chris Quijano (ABComm 3), Jahdiel Abigail Mae Gay (ABComm 4), Jaresa Felipe (ABComm 3), Nicollo Ramon Alessandro Lopez (ABComm 4), Democrito Plaza V (ABComm 3), Kate Marie Jarina (ABComm 3), Carla Victoria Delos Reyes (ABComm 2), Miriam Grace Marasigan (ABComm 3), Monica Diaz (ABComm 4), Katherine Elizabeth Grinstead (ABMMA 3), Alfred Bryan Vidal (ABMMA 3), Sachiko Miyazawa (ABMMA 3), Paulina Ysabel Lopez (ABMMA 3), Nicholas James Montes (ABMMA 3), Kevin Redula (ABMMA 4), Timothy Bernardino (ABMMA 2), Saudan Sibugan (ABMMA 1), and Juan Maria Leon Gregorio Chuidian V (ABComm 2). They are ably coached by Mr. Roel Ramirez, APR.
Last year, SISC was also a finalist in the PRSP Student Grand Prix with their entry entitled Taas Noo, Bagong Pilipino, a PR campaign aimed to re-brand the Philippines.
