Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) Grades 3 – 7 students learned what it is like to be their own boss at the annual Entrepreneurship Days held recently.Organized by Math & Business Department, the program had engaging and fun activities designed to inspire the students’ interest in entrepreneurship, and their ability to create and implement innovative ideas. Prior to the event, the participants learned about teamwork and business formation as they worked in groups to create a company name, logo and slogan, assign job functions, and come up with marketable products.
During the event, SISC Grade Schoolers got the chance to exercise their entrepreneurial skills by setting up stalls of goods for sale to the public. This nurtured their entrepreneurial spirit, exposed them to the realities of the market place, and encouraged their can-do attitude.
