Jeremie Keon Torralba of Grade 4 Humility won back-to-back awards in international mathematics competitions held in Hongkong.
He ranked 3rd in the 10th Asia Cup Stars of the Olympic Math Finals, and won a special award in the Hua Cup International Olympics Mathematics (Hong Kong Macau Region) Final Competition.
A member of the Mathematics Trainers Guild of the Philippines, Keon passed the rigid selection of the Mathematics Development Academy of the Philippines. His remarkable performance in their series of training programs qualified him to represent the Philippines together with other Filipino qualifiers.
“We are very proud of Keon. He is an inspiration to us as well as to his schoolmates. I know Keon will go a long way,” said Deputy Principal January Gutierrez.
