Diana Navarro a senior of Southville International School & Colleges as well as Student Adviser for the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) – SISC Chapter was elected as Director for International linkages of the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) National Board of Officers elections during the annual JPCS – Leadership Transformation Workshop and Election 2013 held at the Global City Innovative College in Makati City recently.
This year’s conference was attended by the JPCS – SISC Chapter officer: Benedict Nicolas (President), John Panes (Vice-President), JC Aguinaldo (2nd Year Level Representative) and Diana Navarro herself (Board of Advisor).
Navarro was among the top 15 qualified applicants who underwent a career test and a Question and Answer portion from the JPCS chapter members from each participating school. The top 9 from the previous 15 were chosen to be the final members of the National Board of Officers of the said organization, wherein they underwent an interview from the Philippine Computer Society Board who determined their positions. It is through this that Navarro was then chosen as Director for International Linkages.
The Junior Philippine Computer Society is an organization for students studying in the field of Information and Communication Technology. It holds JPCS Nationals, a yearly leadership training for its chapter to unleash inner potentials and collaborate with other JPCS member from across the country that aims to prepare its members when they face the professional ICT world.
