As part of its 21st Foundation Celebration, Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) invites principals, academic heads, and teachers to a seminar on “The Power of Understanding by Design in Instructional Delivery: Sharing Close to a Decade of UbD Insights, Best Practices, and Challenges.”
SISC, which has been implementing UbD since June 2003, will be sharing the experiences and insights of its academic leaders and managers in employing the UbD framework which participants may find helpful in implementing in the context of their own schools.
It will be held on September 21, 2011 at the Taylor Center for Professional Development at Southville International School and Colleges, 2/F Tropical Building, 1281 Tropical Avenue corner Luxembourg St., BF International, Las Piñas City. This academic sharing has a line-up of credible speakers who are at the helm of introducing, implementing, and evaluating the UbD framework in SISC, and have attended the UbD Seminar –Workshop in the U.S. conducted by Grant Wiggins.

• Implementing the UbD framework
• Implementing the UbD framework (Assessment)
• The Principal’s Role in implementing the UbD framework
